Jazzuelle is the South African electronic music artist, born in 14 February 1989 in Cape Town, South Africa, now living in Johannesburg, where he started the independent record label Cityscope Recordings briefly in 2010 has come a long way from humble beginnings to being welcomed by the revered Red Bull Music Academy to opening the first ever Sonar Festival In Johannesburg, (a taste of sonar jhb), playing Glastonbury 2015 on the Silver Heyes Stage in the UK and Playing Sonar Festival 2015 on the Sonar+ Stage in Barcelona
Following numerous stints in Cape Town, several features, singles and a self released EP on his own Cityscope Recordings, Jazzuelle’s already got multiple releases under his belt on renowned labels such as Get Physical, Lazy Days Recordings, Foliage Records, Atjazz Record Company, Phat Elephant Recordings, Do It Now Recordings, to name a few. Jazzuelle has been gaining constant support from the likes of M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T, Dixon, Fred Everything, Osunlade, Charles Webster, Atjazz, Lars Berhenroth, Vinny Da Vinci just to name a few. Jazzuelle was also picked up by the esteemed Red Bull Studios In 2013 which consequently led him to play a part in the renowned Red Bull Music Academy (Bass Camp) which was held in Johannesburg’s Alex Theatre boasting 30 of the most talented, forward-thinking artists in South Africa like Okmalumkoolkat, Fever Trails, Card On Spokes and more…following this, Thando’s headlined and appeared on events such as Sonar Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Beaports Annual Live Stream Party In Barcelona’a W Hotel, OFF Sonar Weekend at City Hall Barcelona, which included Desolat, Octopus Recordings, Get Physical, Minus and more, Ker Barcelona Rooftop, RBMA Nights, Red Bull Studio Live Shows, Griet festival, CTEMF Festival, Rocking The Daisies Festival, Oppikoppi Festival, Its Personal Picnic Festival, Churn Festival and more
