Mephia

Born in Modena (IT) on 09.23.1989, Mephia actually lives in Berlin.
He approaches to electronic music in his teens and his desire to learn and exposure in underground clubs allow him to be known by the dancefloors and by some old school djs of his area which will soon allow him to work alongside them.
In several years of residence in club as a Black box(Fe-It) and Moxa(Mn-It) (points of reference for the current club scene in northern Italy) the young dj has played with a significant number of artists :
Mount Kimbie,Jimpster, Vakula,Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones,Layo& Bushwacka,Tom Trago, Troy Pierce, George Fitzgerald, Michel Cleis, Pastaboys, Ivan Iacobucci, Zepherin Saint (just to name a few)
Many influences characterize his set where warm and chill out atmospheres are mixed with house, deep and techno dub creating an ambiguous and indefinite wave that reflects his personality.
From the beginning of his productive career the releases are intense, emotional and include a variety of musical genres .
At the moment Mephia is collaborating with several labels from all over the world as Tribe Rec(uk),Society 3.0(De), Tuneskin (Nl), Achterdeck (De), We Make Names (Ukraine), FOMP(Uk), Complex Textures (De), Mood Indigo Rec, We Go Deep(S.A), Dimbi Deep (De), Smoke Joke Rec (De), 3 Hands (It), he has remixed and been remixed by artists like Luka, important figure in the South African discography, Arnaud D, Forteba, Daniel Ray and his tracks have been played/charted by Lars Behrenroth (Deeper Shade Of House U.S.A), Rafael Moraes (Nomumbah, Yoruba Rec Brazil ),Rocco (Real Tone .Fr) , Stan Zeff (Tambor), Jonathan Meyer (Super Soul Music).
